Hello Everyone, with a distinguished career spanning over 40 years across both shipboard and shore-based roles as a Ship Superintendent and Chief Engineer, I bring a well-rounded and unique perspective to maritime operations. A competent professional with more than four decades of extensive experience in ensuring reliable vessel performance, maintenance and servicing of equipment, safety and regulatory compliance and effective people management. Possess over 16 years of sea-service experience as a Chief Engineer within the last 28 years.
Significant expertise in handling and repairing defects, conducting inspections, gauging, carrying out repairs of defective parts, ensuring quality assurance, equipment trials and implementing safety management systems. Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication and relationship-managements skills while working with internal teams (team size up to 20) and multi-national / multi-cultural crew members. Strong leadership abilities in team coordination, training and fostering a positive working environment among crew members.
