Director Message

With over 35 years of experience, our Director has made remarkable contributions across various sectors of the maritime industry, including ship management, shipbuilding, offshore platforms, cruise ships, tanker ships, and the Navy. Believing that age is no barrier to driving national development, he founded OCENA Ship Management Pvt. Ltd.

His extensive experience in both shore-based and seafaring roles provides him with a comprehensive understanding of the complex needs of the shipping industry.

Spearheaded business development and operational management for a fleet of Suezmax and Aframax tankers and LPG vessels, emphasizing strategic planning and client relations.
Managed technical operations, including the successful takeover and dry docking of Aframax tankers in Batam, Indonesia.
Directed junior officer planning and sourcing for a fleet of 170 vessels across multiple countries, coordinating with zonal offices to optimize crew management.
Oversaw the installation and commissioning of 16 Yanmar engines at shipyards across India, ensuring top-notch engineering standards.
Led execution for 20 offshore platforms for ONGC (subcontracted by L&T), contributing to critical oil and gas projects.
Directed warship installation and coming for the Indian Navy under the Western Naval Command program, supporting national defense capabilities.
